& anyone with a half-finished idea
Got a demo you can’t finish? Or are you the one who could finish somebody else’s? Either way — you’re in the right room.
CLAIM YOUR SEAT >>so we opened it up. — robby, john & pat.
Members get the keys to the Magic City Hippies vault — every demo that didn’t make the record, the voice memos, and the songs we’re writing right now. Nobody outside the room hears these. Twenty bucks a month, and your first month is free.
The Deck is the club’s private player. Drop the voice memo, the rough mix, the bounce from 3am. Members stream it and pin notes to the exact second that got them — and the three of us drop in with host pins.
Your demo stays yours. It streams inside the room, and nobody downloads it unless you flip the switch.
one station. every member’s demos. nothing finished.
pass the tape.
First of the month somebody drops a seed — eight bars, a hook, a voice memo recorded at 2am with the fridge humming. The room picks one. Then it gets passed around like a tape until it’s a finished record, and on the last day of the month we put it out into the world. Then we wipe the board and do it again.
Everybody drops a start: a riff, a hook, four lines that won’t leave you alone. The room listens and picks one. Most hearts wins — no committee, no politics.
Drums, chords, groove, shape. Producers and players pile on stems until the thing stands up on its own and starts walking around the room.
Writers and singers take it from there. Verses, topline, the one line that turns a loop into a song you can’t shake.
Pat mixes it down, we master it, and it ships on the last day of the month — with every single hand on it in the credits.
the rituals that keep us honest.
everything below is running, live, in the discord — right now.
Songs don’t die of bad ideas. They die of no one asking about them the next morning.
Your first month is free: thirty days in the room with everything unlocked — including behind the curtain. If it’s worth twenty bucks, stay. If it isn’t, walk.
The room is the room. If you want more — a verse written with Robby, a guitar lesson with John, or full production with Pat — we’ll build something custom.

No. You need to write. Beginners, hobbyists, working musicians, and people with day jobs and a guitar in the closet are all welcome. The only filter is showing up.
No. It’s a room. We host rituals, drop assignments, and share stems, but nothing is graded. The pace is yours. The community is the point.
Yes. Robby, John, and Pat are in the Discord most days. Feedback loops are direct. We’re not phoning it in from a marketing office.
Two clicks. No survey, no dark pattern, no “are you sure?” loop. Come back when you’re ready.
Thirty days, the whole room — rituals, the vault, the Deck, host pins from the three of us. If it isn’t worth twenty bucks by then, leave.
The room, and nobody else. Tracks stream inside The Deck — no downloads unless you turn them on, no reposting. Break that rule and you’re out.
